I booked a room in 2022 when the place was still tidy, but this time the rooms were dusty and moldy, so I had to ask for a change. The first room had no hangers in the cupboard, a dusty floor, and the bathroom tap knob fell off when I tried to turn it. The replacement room was only average and didn’t include a kettle for tea or coffee. Cars can’t pull up to the entrance, making it hard if you’re lugging big luggage. On the bright side, the hotel sits in a market area near the ghats, which is great for shoppers and walkers, and the owner/manager is soft‑spoken, nice, and helpful.

Location.staff.comfortable bed. In the 3 nights, no change of towels, no water bottles and no extra toilet paper

The hotel sits very close to Har Ki Pauri and right in the market alley; my family has stayed there multiple times, and this time I booked in advance for myself but didn’t check in because the family came along, and we ended up staying at a few other properties instead.
