The meals were tasty, yet despite being told every room had an ocean view, my room only showed trees when I opened the door (I had requested an ocean view when it wasn’t guaranteed). Also, the open‑air bath lacked any privacy – you could see straight into it from the hallway.
The room was clean, the scenery was beautiful and we managed to check in about half an hour early. However, the boiler sounded like a ship’s whistle, blaring every few minutes for about an hour after we arrived, and the noise from the wall next to the open‑air bath made conversation impossible. I complained to the manager, who just shrugged and said it was probably the boiler, admitting it was his first complaint. When I asked if it rang at night, he said he’d never heard it then and couldn’t guarantee anything. The all‑you‑can‑drink menu listed two items that weren’t actually served, so watch out for that, and they never replaced the bath towel.
