“A great stay”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent (a bit pricey but still very good), and the location was perfect for me since I was attending a wedding. The setting was beautiful.

The Hare & Hounds Hotel, a charming English country house, nestles in gardens and woodland near Tetbury. The hotel features a popular restaurant, bar, and 20+ bedrooms, including those in the Garden Cottage and Coach House, with many offering garden or countryside views. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. The Westonbirt National Arboretum is a half-mile walk away, and Bath is 20 miles distant.

Breakfast and pub meals were very good, and the staff were cheerful and helpful. The dinner at the restaurant on the first night was disappointing; the butterflied sea bass came with bland, textureless sides, and the strawberry trifle was almost textureless, more like a meal for someone with no teeth.

The Cotswolds house had a great atmosphere, a very dog‑friendly bar and lounge areas, and the staff were all friendly and helpful; the food at the gastro pub was delicious.
