I love that the place sits in the heart of town and the balcony opens onto the Salmon River—sleeping to the sound of flowing water is unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with handy appliances for quick meals, and the beds are supremely comfortable. There’s nothing else to note, so I’d recommend this spot to anyone and would book again.

The back deck sits right on the river, and we were spellbound by the water’s murmur while watching birds fish and spotting pronghorn in the distance. The only hiccup was an exhaust fan that kept cycling on our first night, but it never bothered us again for the rest of the stay.

This was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed, and it looked gorgeous. The shower floor was a slick tile slab that made the floor slippery; I even twisted a muscle doing the splits, but it improved after a couple of days. The comforter had an odor and couldn’t be used, but the staff were very apologetic when we reported it.
