The staff were excellent, making the whole experience a pleasure.

The history of the building was interesting, but the room itself let it down: the mattress was uncomfortable, the curtains didn’t block the light, water pressure was weak, and there was a long wait between toilet flushes. The shower was the worst—either barely any pressure or scalding hot, with no comfortable middle ground.

The manor was wonderful, and the staff—especially Steph—were very friendly and helpful 😃.

The staff were fantastic—cheerful, helpful, and professional—and the hotel front is very attractive, set in nice gardens. However, the room had a very creaky floor no matter where you walked, the shower had very low flow, the mattress was very soft, and the whole place looked tired.
