Breakfasts are fine. The neighborhood is ok. Had to change two rooms before I got a one without a smoke odor. Avoid small rooms. Was surprised by some bits of DDR nostalgia in the menu
For a longer stay, a wardrobe for laying clothes would be useful.
“Generally good, but self check in and arrangements for breakfast were negatives.”
The room was spacious and the facilities were good, but the self‑check‑in was not user friendly and quite annoying after a long journey. It seems like a cost‑cutting measure, yet a roaming receptionist had to step in, so it wasn’t very efficient. Finding a seat at breakfast was hard because it was very crowded, the food was spread out so it took a long time to get all the parts onto my plate, and I kept avoiding other people – a real irritation first thing in the morning.
Excellent hotel, the facilities are spectacular, it’s very quiet, the breakfast is quite varied, the staff are very friendly, and the location is strategic.
“Très bien”
The only drawback was the Wi‑Fi in the room, which was too weak. The room itself and the breakfast were otherwise fine.
