At first glance the room looked clean, but a closer look revealed a lot of dust on the floor; the bathroom clothes rack was rusty and broken, the toilet garbage bin lid was broken, and mould/dirt marred the wet area; there was no spot for our bags so we had to lay them on the floor; the blankets had stains and a strange odor; the AC unit was positioned just across the bed, causing discomfort while sleeping; the kitchen plates were dirty and oily, clearly no one had inspected cleanliness; for the last two days of our stay there was no hot water—after I informed the host in the morning they replied on WhatsApp that I should wait for it to arrive; I texted again that the water was still missing and they blamed me for not checking back after sightseeing to report earlier; they refused to send anyone to inspect; the same issue persisted the next day with no resolution or check‑in; the host claimed they do not monitor the accommodation because they pay a cleaning company and expect guests to verify cleanliness, which left us extremely disappointed as the host did not try to help at all.
