The location was amazing and the family breakfast was varied and delicious; the wifi was not great, but that detail doesn’t bother most of us.

The place had a very good, quiet setting in a well‑maintained, clean garden, a nice pool, a cozy, clean cottage; the host was very courteous and helpful, arranging our transport; the Sri Lankan breakfast was very good and tasty; a genuinely nice family business, and we learned a lot about Sri Lanka in general.
The lodge is family‑run and surrounded by greenery; my room faced the pool where we enjoyed a peaceful morning swim, and the hospitality—kindness, attention, availability—was the same across every Sri Lankan place we visited, especially this one; the Sri Lankan cuisine was not too spicy, the sweet breakfast was always Sri Lankan, all prepared by the host’s mother; the sink was a bit broken and there were some constant unidentified noises (not animals).

Located in the heart of Sigiriya, this locally and family‑owned place was incredible; there were two lovely pools, spectacular gardens, a beautiful breakfast and good Sri Lankan hospitality, and we loved our two nights here; we loved it completely.
