We stayed at Casa di Josè for a few nights and found it very comfortable. The room was spacious, equipped with heating (both heat pump and space heater), which was great for the Chilean winter. Breakfast was excellent, offering both sweet and savory options, and the staff were ready to make eggs and hot drinks. A kitchen was available for guests, a large water jug helped refill bottles, and bicycles could be borrowed for free to explore lovely spots near San Pedro. The blankets supplied were too heavy, making it hard to move in bed; the bed felt a bit dated; there was no privacy during breakfast because all guests shared a single indoor table; and the location was somewhat far from the center and restaurants, at least a 15‑20 minute walk.

The pool area is fantastic. They even serve a breakfast buffet at 3 am for early tours. The staff are great.

The hotel is very pretty. I had trouble with hot water, the cable, and the parking.
