The Auberge de France, situated in Kruth at the foot of the Hautes Vosges Mountains, boasts a charming half-timbered facade. This hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a traditional restaurant, and a pétanque field. En suite rooms feature a TV, telephone, and safety deposit box, with some offering a balcony. Guests enjoy breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by a shaded garden, and Alsatian specialties with an extensive wine selection.

The staff were very friendly and the welcome was superb.

The welcome, cleanliness, traditional meal, and room were good, but the room was too small.

The breakfast was excellent—everything you could want, with a wide variety of cakes. The evening menu offered tasty regional specialties, and there was always another daily meal on offer. We could lock our bikes in the garage. I found everything perfect and can’t think of anything missing.

The rooms were cozy, the bathroom beautiful, very clean, and quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The common areas were stunning: a living room, a dining room in typical Alsatian style where we had a great meal and breakfast. It’s close to the lake and other hikes.
