The cakes in the cafe are lovely, the staff were very helpful, and the location is great for exploring the region.

Very dog friendly and a nice spot; the staff were also friendly. The bed was extremely creaky unless you lie perfectly still and don't move a muscle, we also felt they should have had a mini fridge in the room, and it would benefit from having facilities for a hot breakfast.

The Lodge in the Vale kept things tidy and cozy, and the continental breakfast was top‑class. Watch your step when leaving the property, though—the narrow road outside makes it hard to spot oncoming cars.
