We really enjoyed our stay at Quinta da Casa Amarela. Andre, the manager, took excellent care of us, helping to arrange dinner reservations and transportation. The Quinta is a lovely, small hotel with very nice communal areas. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with the other guests. The Douro Valley is a beautiful part of Portugal. Our room was quite small and there was little space to put our things, especially hanging towels.

The location was great. The facilities and grounds were very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool was well maintained.

We loved relaxing by the pool with breathtaking views of the vineyards and mountains. The location is excellent—close to Peso da Régua, yet far enough to enjoy a very quiet and private atmosphere, which was respected by all guests. Andre provided exceptional service! he was super attentive, made sure we felt completely comfortable, and gave us a great viewpoint recommendation. The Quinta winery tour and generous wine tastings were also a major highlight. Highly recommended for a romantic couple's trip!
