The proximity to the boardwalk was a plus. I had called a day before to confirm my reservation at night, only to be told there was no agreement with Booking and that I should cancel so they could make a reservation for me, which contradicted their own statement that my room had no windows. They suggested I choose a room costing about 6,500, and when I arrived they changed my room again. The owner demanded I switch rooms to earn a commission. The pool had very low water, no hot water, and the room had a door knob with a latch that was stuck inward. I was given the worst room with a broken table until I requested a change. There were no elevators, only stairs. Please, Booking, do your own check by calling at night to see how the hotel operates. I’ve never had such a bad experience; I have photos of the door knob latch and the pool with very little water, and they never refilled it or maintained it.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. However, some parts of the hotel were under renovation and that wasn’t mentioned on the website, and I had no internet during the first few days.

The location is excellent for strolling along the boardwalk and the area is very quiet. The air‑conditioners in the rooms are too small for the heat in the area.

Nothing good to say; everything was dirty and in bad condition. The air‑conditioners don’t work, the housekeeping is terrible, and the rooms smell awful.

The only redeeming factor is the location. The room feels cramped, the facilities are not functioning properly, the air‑conditioner doesn’t work, the shower water sprays everywhere except where it should, and the curtains don’t work.
