The breakfast was great, the location was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly, the hotel and room were beautiful, and the check‑in/out system with a code for opening the doors was convenient. The shower water was always too hot and hard to adjust the temperature.

Breakfast fell short, with almost no hot dishes and a very narrow selection, and the whole setup felt more like a café than a proper breakfast.

It’s close to Valletta’s center and convenient for the boats, the staff were accommodating, and the roof terrace was nice. One night, another guest guessed our room’s access code, which startled us.

The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of La Velletta. Everything was great.

Joseph and his team gave us exceptional service, even helping with our bags when we got lost – truly above and beyond. Note: when using Google Maps to find the hotel, type “Avalon Boutique Hotel” instead of the street address! The hotel’s location is ideal, right next to bars, cafés, and the town’s main attractions. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Thank you, Joseph and team.
