The owner was wonderful and very thoughtful, even about our little kids, and her warm, professionally appealing hosting made it feel like a home away from home. The stay was too short; we hope to return.

“Nicky and the owner are horrible people. They didn’t care about my safety but my money”

I was really looking forward to staying at The Fat Mulberry Guest Farm, especially since it was close to the Surrender Hill Marathon. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The host, Nicky, showed me to a "honeymoon suite" which sounded great, but it quickly turned out to be a nightmare. There was no electricity on arrival, and when it came back, it was only for an hour. To make matters worse, the sliding door didn't lock, and I was left feeling scared and vulnerable.

“Was very okay”

I had a decent stay at this place, but there were a few issues that made it less enjoyable. The power went off, and we were left without water for a while. It was a bit of a hassle, but the place itself was good, and the staff tried to make up for it. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there's definitely room for improvement.

I was blown away by the peaceful setting and the stunning view of the Lesotho mountains in the distance. It was like a little slice of heaven, and I felt completely relaxed and at ease. The only thing that would've made it even better was some hot water, but that's a minor complaint. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
