“Lovely hotel, like a pskace”
The staff, especially the breakfast sous‑chef and his team, were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable; the Thai and European food was exceptional. The reception rooms were grand and worthy of a Middle‑East palace. The location is far from any restaurants, shops, or public transport, so taxis are needed all the time; this isn’t a problem because they are readily available and cheap, but it takes between 45 to 90 minutes to reach central Bangkok. The only dining option is the main restaurant, which offers an excellent selection of well‑priced and delicious dishes in very comfortable and grand surroundings. However, every night we were disturbed by the sound of cats being strangled as customers participated in karaoke, which was totally inappropriate for the surroundings; the noise was unbearable and completely ruined the ambience.
