Elegant, modern, and spotless, the hotel sits in a fantastic spot just a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre. The rooms are spacious, impeccably maintained, and very quiet. Breakfast is excellent in both variety and quality. A special thank you to the staff, who are always friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

I liked the staff’s attitude, though one employee was somewhat racist. I appreciated the air conditioning and the calm atmosphere. Comments say the hotel is close to the beach, but it’s actually about a 25‑minute walk. There’s a nearby supermarket, the river, and the station. I booked an apartment on Booking, but when I arrived the staff told me there were two buildings—one with rooms, the other with apartments—separated by a street. The room was smart, new, and very clean, but my husband wanted to change it. They told us we had the same price and choice, but the apartments were much older than the rooms.

The location, though a bit tucked away, is well connected by foot and public transport. The split between two buildings isn’t ideal, especially for breakfast and on rainy days. In the second building, the reception and security at the entrance were almost never present.

My entire experience was wonderful from arrival to departure. The room was beautiful, fully equipped, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very kind. I highly recommend it. Nothing was lacking; everything was excellent.

I was thrilled to receive an upgrade, and the bathtub in the room was truly luxurious. The space felt very relaxing, and breakfast was excellent. I appreciated being allowed early entry into my room because it was available, which was a nice gesture. The restaurant served delicious food, and after staying at Klemzer-Huis before, I was relieved to find reliable Wi‑Fi here. The price feels a bit high for the location; while getting to the city center isn’t difficult, the surrounding area isn’t very interesting. I do recommend reviewing the information sheet you hand out, as it contains contradictory details—such as saying you can leave luggage after check‑out but then stating you cannot, and claiming a charge if you stay past checkout. The front desk was more flexible, but check‑out was too early; it should be noon, like other hotels nearby, not 11.
