The location was superb, very close to Paddington station and Hyde Park, giving easy access to many places. Breakfast was good, with plenty to eat, a good variety of food and drink that was regularly restocked, so everything stayed fresh. The bed was very comfortable and spacious, with a duvet that I find much better than traditional sheets and blankets. The room was also quiet, with no noticeable traffic sounds, which made falling asleep easier than expected in such a busy part of London. Both the room itself and the reception area were somewhat smaller than they appeared in the publicity pictures, so the bathroom/shower was a little cramped, especially for two people sharing the room. There were many plug inlets and USB ports, but they were the older USB2.0 variety; luckily I brought a USB 3 adaptor, but otherwise this could have been an issue, as many devices use the later version to charge.
