Guests enjoy a ground‑floor restaurant serving dinner nightly and weekend lunches, plus a bar and terrace. Located steps from Haarlemmerdijk’s shops and cafés, the hotel is 12 minutes’ walk to Central Station and close to Dam Square, Leidseplein, and Schiphol Airport.

They provide vouchers for the coffee shop next door, which was a nice touch! The hotel is very minimalist but well decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. However, there is no reception or lobby (which is fine), yet the main entrance door was left open when I arrived at 7 pm. When I left for dinner shortly after, the door was left open again, and when I left in the morning at 9 am, the door was left open again. This happened about five times during a two‑night stay, so anyone could have walked in from the street and entered the property, which was very unsettling. As other guests have mentioned, the property has no soundproofing and the noise inside and outside was less than ideal. The hotel provided earplugs, but they unfortunately didn’t help when construction work started at 8 am outside. The bathroom smelled of drains.

For the price, the room was acceptable. The room was not ready for check‑in.

The location is great and close to the city, and the staff were very helpful—thanks a lot. The rooms feel a bit small, and the closet and comfort level don’t meet expectations, but I’d stay again.

The place is in a superb spot, just a short walk from the central train station, and the restaurant and hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable with high‑quality linens, and the free coffee and pastry from Good Beans was a lovely bonus.
