The room was a disaster: the shower was broken so we couldn’t wash. Past guests left blood on the walls and blankets. They promised it would be cleaned but it never was, and there was no assistance at all. I have the email to prove it.

The location is excellent and the staff treatment is superb. The only downside is that you have to walk a long way from the boat stop to the hotel.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from St Mark’s Square and other attractions. The room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The corridors could use a makeover, but the room itself was brilliant and offered a great view of the square.
