The private bath in the single room was a plus, but a fridge in the room would have been better. On the first day, the taxi that the Buno Hotel staff called for me cost 900 yen right when I got in, which was disappointing—higher than the rate I had checked for the Yubatake. On the way back, I had to hail a taxi from the Seven‑Eleven at Yubatake, which started at 600 yen, and when I arrived at Buno Hotel the fare was a reasonable low rate. Usually taxis start at 600 yen, so I wondered why there were overcharged drivers, and it felt like an extra expense at a supposedly good hotel. The other taxi company’s driver was more professional and picked me up on the second day, which was fine.
