The view was stunning, the location was great, and getting to the beach was easy. The only issue was a mix‑up with dinner – it had to be ordered in the morning for the evening meal.

The bungalow was spacious, came with a kitchenette, and offered a beautiful sea view. Breakfasts were good, with plenty of fruit and pastries, and there was a bus stop right by the hotel.

The hotel sits on the side of Lazare Bay with a wide sea view, a well‑kept garden, a private little terrace, excellent fruit at breakfast, parking, lots of birds to watch from above and many friendly geckos to spot, and right beneath the hotel there’s a cheap but excellent seafood restaurant. The coastal road runs in front of the cottages; it isn’t heavily used but at certain times the noise from cars and buses can be annoying, the facilities are basic, there are many stairs to reach the cottages, and they charged us €3.5 for a bottle of water.

Our spacious and well-appointed room offered breathtaking views of Baie Lazare, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially during a time of global uncertainty. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and the Four Seasons resort, where we enjoyed a stunning beach. However, the breakfast buffet could be improved by offering more fresh fruit.
