The White House Inn, situated on Whitby's West Cliff, offers stunning views of Sandsend Cliffs. Rooms feature free WiFi, TVs, and tea/coffee facilities, with some boasting sea-view balconies. The Sea View Restaurant serves fresh seafood and local produce, accompanied by a fine wine list. The beach is a 5-minute walk away, with Whitby Golf Course and town centre nearby.

The location and views are superb, just a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach; the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the bar offers a great drink selection, the food—both dinner and breakfast—is amazing, the room is spacious, clean, and boasts superb sea and golf course views, and the overall value is excellent—definitely planning a longer stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Whitby.

The location was perfect, just a 20 minute walk to town, and the food was great too.

The food was very good and the restaurant view lovely, and the bed was very comfortable; however, check‑in didn’t match the customer service later in the restaurant, the only “king” feature of the room was the bed—it was cramped with no bathroom storage, the TV channels didn’t work, the Wi‑Fi was totally inadequate, and the parking was full upon arrival; since we were on motorbikes, secure parking is always a top priority.
