The property sits right in the historic center, in the ZTL zone, about 100 m from the beaches. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both sweet pastries that were not industrial and savory options. Parking was adequate for the limited space in the historic center. The room we stayed in faced north with a window overlooking the Aurealia highway, which was noisy both during the day and at night. A strange water drainage system from the air‑conditioner splits caught my eye: a plastic tube from the unit ends in a collection tank on the floor beneath the split; it looks outdated and unappealing. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant the first night: the service was polite and formal, but the mixed fried food was forgettable.
