“A true life changing experience”

Ivan welcomed us like family during our two nights, and the spot is great—though a bit farther from the touristy Uros islands, we still got to soak in Ivan’s local way of life, watch a breathtaking sunset, and enjoy meals lovingly made by his wife with constant tea and coffee. He can set up trips to Taquile or the main floating Uros islands for an extra fee, and he did everything to make our stay unforgettable. I’d just wish for a bit more shampoo and shower gel.

The location is superb, far from everything yet offering an amazing view; the staff were friendly, we were served breakfast early before we left, and everything was perfect 💖💕. They also took us on a pre‑check‑in walk around the island.

“The only tranquil part of the Uros Islands! Lovely!”

The most beautiful view from lovely rooms. This is almost the only Uros lodge that is far from the main settlement so incredibly tranquil and beautiful. The food was simple, healthy and lovely.The wonderful Janeth and Ivan coped brilliantly with my gluten-free daughter. The boat trip with Janeth around the main Uros settlement was great. Just the 7 of us on a smaller island with members of her community. The experience is the lake equivalent of a mountain refuge!. The features of being off grid might be tough for some. Electricity and water heating is from solar panels so less good in the morning and the heating is gas or bioethanol. The reed island and the houses on stilts would be challenging for those of poor mobility

“Great experience!”

It was an amazing experience—perfect for resting and disconnecting. The space was beautifully decorated and roomy, and the family that runs it was kind and helpful; I 100 % recommend it.
