ACHAT Hotel Frankfurt Maintal

The staff were friendly, but the hotel was very, very old‑fashioned. The windows let in almost everything, making the place noisy and preventing any restful sleep. The noise was constant; around 5 am the sleep was interrupted in short bursts. The ventilation system was so loud it kept me awake. The furnishings were disappointing: some tiles were loose, the toilet was in poor condition, and the shower head was set too low to shower properly. At first there was no hot water; it took a long time to get it. Overall, the value for money under these circumstances was definitely unfair and even outrageous.

“Für Kurzaufenthalte gut geeignet.”

The breakfast was generous and left no room for complaint, with plenty of fresh fruit. There was a wide selection of everything—bread, rolls, vegetables, spreads, egg dishes. The beds in the two‑bedroom were very narrow, uncomfortable for larger people, and the mattresses were very soft. The rooms for athletes were on the hallway side, and there was a lot of dragging of luggage from the elevator. It would be better to assign athletes with large luggage to rooms near the elevator. Unfortunately there is no elevator that goes directly from the garage to the floors; this is impossible because of the building design.

De douche was heel goed!. De wafels bij het ontbijt. In de hoek van de badkamer lagen haren en het water in de wastafel van kamer 233 liep niet goed weg
