Everything at this accommodation was fine—nothing amazing, nothing bad. It’s not a place to stay during the day, but rather a base for exploring the old town. The location sits on the edge of what’s considered the safe area of Panama City. Our taxi driver told us not to go further into the neighborhood and to head toward the fish market when leaving the accommodation; we followed that advice and felt safe enough to walk to the old town or fish market. Just a reminder to be a bit careful and not wander into potentially unsafe parts of the city. Wifi didn’t work when we arrived, but it was fixed the next day after contacting the host. The pool could use a cleaning, and the chairs were not very comfortable.

The pool was very pretty, the bed was comfy, and the shower was spacious. The only downside was the noise isolation – cars outside and a neighbor snoring were audible.

“Estoy bien decepcionado de ese lugar. jamas me paso algo asi y miren cuantas veces utilizo booking”

I never actually used any of the rooms. The rooms were spread far apart, which was a problem because I had tiny kids. I asked for a fix but got no help or alternatives, so I had to cancel and lose all my money. I booked a different, more expensive place instead. It’s not about the cost; it’s about flexibility. If I want two rooms, how can they not be next to each other?

Cleanliness and comfort were solid. The spot is right at the start of the old town, but the surrounding neighborhoods aren’t the best.
