Lamberts Bay Hotel

“Comfortable stay.”

We’ve visited this place several times over the years; it’s not brand‑new but the bathroom got a nice makeover and the beds feel solid. Breakfast was solid, though a loud Transnet group stayed nearby and kept us up; the staff talked to them a few times and the noise dropped a lot.

The building was tidy and felt safe, and the front desk lady was great. The hotel itself looks old‑fashioned and even smells a bit dated.

The staff were super helpful, the breakfast spread was great, and the location was perfect. Only downside: the room fridges are tiny.

I was hooked by the old‑school vibe—it felt like a time capsule. The staff were friendly, rooms were clean and comfy with fresh towels every day, and breakfast was lovely.
