I was surprised to find a hot spring, which was a pleasant surprise.

When we first saw the building we were unsure, but after staying it turned out to be comfortable. We enjoyed free beer (a toast beer), American dock, fried rice, and canned shochu high, and the rooms were easy to stay in. The only issue was that the docomo and softbank networks were out of coverage, so if you need to make work calls, you might want to avoid this location.

For 5500 円 the service and facilities were excellent, and the 25‑minute trip to the sand dunes and sand museum felt well worth it for a couples’ getaway.
