We came for a typical nature trip around Lake Biwa and the place to stay was a perfect score; I might even say it was the most pleasant accommodation I've had in Japan – quiet, peaceful, the room was very spacious with large, comfortable beds, a projector with Netflix access, plus a water dispenser, microwave, disposable chopsticks, and napkins; towels were available on site, and the shared bathrooms had shower fluid, shampoo, and conditioner; thank you very much! This isn’t a flaw, just a tip for other travelers – the easiest way to reach the property is by car since it’s a few kilometers from the nearest station (though you can walk if you’re determined). We arrived by bike, rented from the Torahime station, and there was no problem leaving them in a dry, safe place.

The exterior was beautiful, the location charming, and it’s a nice place to stay if you want to visit the area without crowds and tourists.

Even though I paid a low price, the room was spacious and the whole facility was thoroughly cleaned, making my stay very comfortable. The only inconvenience was that there is no convenience store around the hotel.
