The location is unbeatable, and the check‑in and check‑out service is great. The breakfast service was poorly attended; it was outsourced to a nearby restaurant that was badly served. Additionally, cars were parked at the entrance, which took away from the charm of an otherwise spectacular place.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, set in a historic building right in the heart of the old town next to the exceptional Santa Croce. The area is quite touristy, but the soundproofing is good and you can easily walk to quieter spots; in the early mornings the square feels almost to yourself.

The location and the size of the room were good, and Viviana was gracious and helpful. Although the staff responded to texts and was helpful, having some written recommendations and instructions would have been useful.
