“Very disappointing stay – left after one night”
We booked five nights at this resort and left after only one because the property didn’t match the online description or photos: the room was old, poorly maintained, and in far worse condition than expected. Around the resort, broken materials, damaged furniture, and loose tiles were everywhere, raising safety concerns for our four‑year‑old. The beach and surrounding area also fell short of the photos, littered with plastic and smelling strongly of fish, which kept our son awake. Several advertised facilities were missing: there was no playground, no televisions in the rooms, and the Wi‑Fi was non‑functional for days, as other guests had reported. The biggest let‑down was the lack of communication and customer service. We reported our issues immediately and asked for a refund for the four unused nights, but we were repeatedly told someone would contact us and that the owner would discuss it—yet no follow‑up occurred. Eventually we had to call the property ourselves using the phone number on their website. Having travelled extensively for many years, I’ve never experienced such a disappointing lack of communication, unwillingness to resolve problems, or failure to keep promises. I cannot recommend this property.
