The view and the ability to use the canoes were positives. The overall cleanliness was mediocre; trash lay on the lake edges, so don’t walk barefoot to the water. Breakfast was fine, but the restaurant menu prices in dollars were high. The noise from boats passing nonstop in front of the bungalows was unbearable, day and night. When you move away, you can find calm, especially near the neighboring hotel.

The location could be great, but it’s not maintained. The road leading to the village is a real obstacle to the site’s development. The place is truly isolated. With no evening activities, the hotel could at least offer a bar; only two colas and a few beers were left. The staff were friendly, but not trained to run a hotel restaurant. The rooms looked beautiful in photos but are severely degraded because they’re not maintained daily.

A peaceful spot that lets you escape everything; the kayaks are handy and there’s nothing to complain about.

Amazing location, very friendly and kind host and staff. Stunning views. Very peaceful. Very comfortable bed and nicely designed rooms. Free water refills to reduce plastic. Adorable dog to play with. The road there from Vang Vieng is a bit bad but the owner can arrange a comfortable taxi ride. Only ride a motorbike there if you're very experienced riding in South East Asia
