The location was great, and breakfast was solid.

I was initially charmed by the hotel's picturesque surroundings and the tasty yoghurt they provided. However, upon closer inspection, I found that the breakfast was incomplete, lacking the promised jam, and the kitchen was woefully under-equipped for self-catering. To make matters worse, the plug-in heater in our cottage almost caught fire when we tried to use it, which was a major concern.

I was impressed by the hotel's commitment to providing fresh homemade bread, which was a lovely touch. However, my stay was marred by a leak in the bathroom during a heavy rainstorm, which was a major inconvenience.

The hotel's tranquil setting was the perfect antidote to the stresses of everyday life, and I felt completely at ease during my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, thanks to its idyllic location, which offered a perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility to the nearby town. The spacious room and lovely outdoor shower were definite highlights, and I appreciated the fresh eggs, bread, and other essentials provided. The only thing that would have made my stay even better was a more comprehensive breakfast spread.
