Hotel Abaco Altea is a charming, 18th-century traditional-style hotel in Bellaguarda-Altea's old town, 5 minutes from Costa Blanca's seafront. Originally a bakery, it offers 18 individually decorated rooms with antique-style furnishings. Shops, restaurants, and bars are nearby, with outdoor activities like hiking, canyoning, sailing, horse riding, and scuba diving available in the surrounding Sierra Bernia.

Just a short walk to the Church square, old town, beach, shops and local supermarkets, the hotel and apartments are perfectly positioned to make the most of your stay. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you might need for self‑catering or simply to enjoy your holiday. The balcony is surrounded by a beautiful climbing evergreen that provides privacy, and during the warm evenings and early mornings your tea or coffee will be enhanced by the jasmine below. All the facilities are first‑class—you literally will want for nothing. The kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable bed, sofa, lounge chair, and a powerful shower top it off! The hotel staff are lovely, and we received a welcome cava and beer for my wife and me. Nothing to dislike.

I just have to say, the staff are incredibly welcoming, the rooms are clean and “luxurious,” and the team is dedicated to giving us guests the best service. We’ve stayed here before and will always return whenever we need to spend the night in Altea. Thank you from us.
