I was pleased that the room was roomy and that I got a complimentary upgrade to a double, and the location made it easy to hit the nearby sights. But the room was freezing, the AC was faulty, so I had to ask for an extra duvet to get a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was very plain, and it was a real let‑down to see flies buzzing around the sandwich station and the orange juice. The hallway lights were also too dim.

Overall the stay was solid; the room was a bit small but still comfortable, and the location was very convenient. What could use work is the constant running‑water noise behind the wall, especially at night, and the fact that the room lacked shampoo and shower gel. I’d suggest checking that all basic bathroom amenities are present before handing the room over to the next guest.
