The place was clean, but the vibe was bad.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits just 50 steps from the ADO bus terminal. However, finding a good restaurant nearby was difficult; walking or taking a jeepney to the old town centre is the best way to experience the market and plaza life.
