It felt like a real home. Suzie made me feel very well looked after. I had the single room, which is very light and well laid out, and the bed was super comfy. The shared bathroom worked out well. Breakfast was very friendly, with the option of a light breakfast or, for a reasonable cost, a full cooked breakfast. Suzie was helpful, welcoming, not overbearing, and great to chat with and ask about the area. The location is excellent for exploring the surroundings or just enjoying peace in beautiful scenery. The only thing to know beforehand is that the cooked breakfast costs extra.

A warm greeting, easy navigation, and it matched my needs perfectly—great value. I could hear snoring from an adjacent room, and the bathroom was directly next to mine.

The hosts were very friendly, the location was quiet, a great pub was within walking distance, the rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was fantastic—def worth £10, set in a beautiful home; we only stayed one night.

I loved Susie and John—they were welcoming and warm; the place felt like a nice home; the beds were comfortable and with the windows open we had a beautiful breeze overnight; I messed up the booking and didn’t notice the shared bathroom, which we don’t usually do but it was late and the internet was slow so we booked what was along the way; the booking said breakfast was included and I guess it was but only toast, juice, and coffee; cereal if you wanted; when I see breakfast included in the UK I picture the full English; you can get the full English but it costs extra and for the price we can go to a bakery or tea room.
