Our car was broken into in their paid parking area. There are no cameras. Reception did not care, just gave us the police number to file a report. No parking refund offered. On top of that there are numerous reports on the internet that this is an ongoing thing with break ins and they have not attempted to do anything about it. They just continue to charge for parking, no camera and they don’t even warn people of the break in. Very disappointed

The building’s grandeur and beautiful lobby were impressive, yet my bed was noisy and uncomfortable, the large TV was damaged, and the hallway scent was overwhelmingly sweet and sickly. The worst part was having to pay for parking, only to have our car broken into and everything stolen; the hotel refunded the parking fee but not the room charge. They mentioned the high homeless population and blamed it as an issue downtown, but offered no real solution. With only one camera—located at the gate instead of the parking lot—the manager and police were notified, yet I received no helpful response. Do not stay here; it’s not worth the money.

The room was superb, well-equipped, and offered a beautiful view. The pub and its staff were warm and welcoming, and the front‑desk staff were attentive during check‑in. The pool and spa area, however, were not particularly pretty—dated but functional. The opening hours were convenient, and while the parking exit was a bit awkward, we managed to get out without trouble.
