“Une vue à couper le souffle !”

The view is absolutely stunning and unforgettable; the owners were adorable and attentive, especially since we arrived late and they were eager to cook for us. Breakfast was very good, the fire in the room kept us warm in September, and we had a beautiful night watching distant lightning – it was a memorable experience. The location in the village of Quilotoa was the best for us! We only stayed one night, so this type of lodge suited us perfectly; nothing to report.

The spot is on the lagoon. The staff are friendly but very shy and reserved. It’s too cold and poorly insulated, with no adequate heating. The tiny stove only works if you stay awake all night to keep adding wood, and it doesn’t heat enough. The large glass room with 7 beds… don’t forget to ask to turn on the shower, otherwise it’s as cold as the room.

The scenery is simply insane and makes up for everything. The windows aren’t properly sealed, and the wind drags in a chilling cold.

“Froid, venteux et bruyant, mais avec une belle vue!”

The view is stunning, and the hosts are friendly, though they only speak Spanish. The breakfast is excellent with generous portions, but the constant wind makes the night very noisy, and the single stove in the room is hard to keep warm. You’ll need to be ready for cold and noise, and while the accommodation is acceptable, the price feels a bit high for the level of comfort.

The location is amazing, the breakfast is good, and the staff are very kind. It was very cold, making it difficult to keep the fire going all night.
