The Hotel "Wilder Mann" is a traditional, family-run hotel located 4020 Linz, a 7-minute walk from Linz's Main Train Station. Rich breakfast buffets are served daily. Close to the city centre, Old and New Cathedral, and main square, it offers free Wi-Fi, bicycle storage, and easy access to the A7 motorway, with a nearby tram stop.

The location is fairly good, but the furnishings are just average—mostly Ikea pieces. Everything else was clean, but the single window is about 3 m tall, exactly 3 m, 40 × 50 cm, looking straight up. From the opposite building you can see straight through because the window isn’t darkened, which feels like a prison with a neighboring “spanner paradise.” Also beware of the shared toilet.

Bike storage is exceptional and practical, and breakfast was nice.

Great location, very comfortable bed, and it was great having a shower in the room. The hallway bathroom was very clean.

It’s central to everything! There’s no elevator, so carrying a lot of luggage up and down the stairs during check‑in and check‑out is a real hassle.
