We’ve been here before, so we found again everything we loved from our first visit – not just the hotel, but Guarda, the walks from there, and the Engadine. We’ll come back. The breakfast is plentiful, but it’s odd that hot food is only served on Sundays.

The area is beautiful, a very small town. Our room was on the fourth floor with no lift, so if we’d known we’d have chosen a different one. The room itself was very comfortable.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous – you’ll love stepping out onto the balcony. The price feels a bit steep for what you get, and the room doesn’t have a fridge, which was a surprise. A TV would have been a nice touch, but it’s not a deal‑breaker.
