Guests dine on continental, buffet, vegetarian, and gluten‑free breakfasts featuring local pastries and fruit. A place where they truly care about our four‑legged friends; our dog walked with us around the entire farm, and at breakfast we asked if we could bring him, and they said yes right away. Everyone was very friendly to our dog and to us. The farm has a few animals: two donkeys, pigs, and two dogs. One of them immediately befriended ours, even though ours is a bit shy around other dogs. We will definitely return on a future trip to the Douro. Breakfast was very good with some of the farm’s products. Nothing negative.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We didn’t realize when we booked it that it was neither on the Sil River nor in Tabuaço. It’s in the Tabuaço district and about 20 minutes to the town itself, where most of the nearest restaurants are located. That’s not a problem at all, because the drives from all entry points into Carrazedo (where the Quinta is located) are fantastic. Carrazedo is a small village, and the Quinta is really the most prominent location. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the town. The wines and breakfast are not just locally sourced, they are homemade and organic – and all very tasty. The staff members were diligent and friendly, and the owner was attentive, curious, helpful, and sincerely devoted to the Quinta. By all means, take the short loop hike above the Quinta into the farmland and vineyards.

The accommodation was fantastic, set in a relaxing, natural environment with vineyards and beautiful views; the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were warm and very friendly—Rita and her husband were incredibly attentive and pleasant. There was a pool and the breakfast was delicious. The organic wine they produce and sell is excellent!
