“Dirty, dark hotel with construction going on all around the hotel”
I stayed at the hotel and found nothing good; construction was happening, blocking my view and making noise. The pool area didn’t match the pictures, and the construction opposite the pool was visible. The lifts and mirrors in the room were dirty. Everything was as advertised, and I left the next morning to find another hotel.
“Very good place”
The stay was good.
“Avevo aspettative alte, sono state deluse tutte.”
The only bright spot was the gentleman who helped with our luggage, escorted us to the room and kept a friendly, smiling attitude throughout. The rest of the staff were far from cheerful, the place reeked and was noisy amid a construction site. The receptionist who greeted us on 27 July was the worst part of the whole trip: no smile, we arrived around 12:30 and hoped to access the room after a long journey, yet she only offered the price for an early check‑in of just one hour, showing zero empathy. Worse still, when it came time to pay she asked us to cancel the reservation made on Booking (which had free cancellation) and to pay her directly, dangling a meagre 5 % discount, which I refused, insisting on paying the full amount honestly so the hotel could keep its proper commission. The hotel markets itself as “beachfront” but there is no sea view; instead, the surroundings are filled with numerous construction sites, some just a metre or two from the building, with workers watching you try to enjoy a pool swim with your partner. I would strongly advise families against it because the top edge of the pool is dangerously close to an eighth‑floor drop. Breakfast was sparse, the popular items didn’t reappear the next day while the unwanted ones stayed on the buffet, so I eventually abandoned the hotel breakfast and ate at a nearby bar.
The room was fine. The pool area was poor. And building 2 hotels alongside, we were not warned adequately. Just told "some construction work"
“Prima.”
The hotel was nice and close to the beach, but unfortunately there was no view because construction was happening around the hotel.
