The location was clear and the staff were friendly, but I would have liked a place to sit, a room with a sofa and table to chat and play cards, for example. I admit I didn’t check that carefully beforehand—my fault.

San Pietro sits in a prime spot, near the metro and the Vatican. The room is clean, comfortably sized, and the bed is comfy. The bathroom is good and the shower is strong. Breakfast is delivered to the room, which is also great. We really liked our stay.

The location is great, just 3 blocks from the metro and close to San Pedro. I ended up on the 3rd floor, unlike the first part of our Rome stay where we were on the 1st floor, which was nice. The room needs some work: a chair was a bit worn, the table had a stained cover, the sink lacked a lid, the shower floor was warped, and cold water barely came out while hot water was abundant.

The service and location keep you close to everything. Beautiful view of the Basilica of San Pietro. Nothing to complain about. Everything was great!!

Close to the Vatican. The shower drain in the bathroom broke and came loose while showering. The pillows were old and in poor condition.
