The property is set among the owner’s vineyards, featuring numerous original statues crafted by the father, and a wine tasting upon arrival. The only issue was the difficulty in locating the site; it would help if the owners provided a clear meeting point at their remote house.

The hosts were excellent and the atmosphere fantastic—peaceful, local, and a must-see in Moldova. In September, be prepared for the possibility of manure odor and flies, but that’s part of the rural charm and what draws people here.
