The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially during the 40th anniversary celebrations when they went out of their way to make the day special. I can't think of any negatives.

“High quality hotel and personal touches”

The room was excellent quality, with staff listening to my request and assigning me the perfect location; it was luxurious, cleaned meticulously every day, and the maid left extra toiletries, coffee, water, and a lovely personal note—these small touches made the stay very enjoyable. The room’s lights, curtains, MUR, and DND were centrally controlled. The food was amazing and the restaurant staff were always attentive. The general manager introduced himself and was eager to ensure our stay was pleasurable. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again. The lifts were sometimes a little slow.

“It was a fantastic stay, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise”

The room was spotless and the staff at reception were genuinely friendly. Its spot near the metro made getting around a breeze, and the view from the window was pleasant. Breakfast offered a wide range of dishes, including some tasty Xi’an specialties, and I couldn’t think of anything that needed fixing – overall a great stay.

All in all the hotel was decent, but the bathtub in the room felt awkward to use. Breakfasts were fine, though the portions seemed a bit small for European guests while locals got more. Nothing major to complain about, just a few minor quirks.

The lobby’s Christmas decorations were really beautiful, adding a festive touch that instantly lifted the mood.
