The location was great, close to the city center, and the building looked beautiful and well restored. I especially liked the interior décor. The room was comfy, with a good bed and a spotless toilet, and double‑glazed windows that kept the street noise down; the air conditioning was quiet too. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

The guest house itself was fine, but the only problem I had was parking.

The property is gorgeous and in a central spot, but cleaning only happens every other day, so bring your own coffee pods or tea bags if you’re staying in a room with those facilities—there are only two chamomile tea bags and two coffee pods. The church bells are loud, so ear plugs might be handy. Check‑in is at 4 pm and the door codes don’t work until then, so plan accordingly. Parking is nearby on weekends, but if you’re arriving during the week, pay for parking because there are restrictions.

It’s a place steeped in history, but the bathtub on the balcony, which I would have called the room’s highlight, was in really bad shape. No one would want to use it. A real shame.
