“dreadful experience”
Not a lot. Ther location was ok. The reception was basic and the staff unhelpful. The room was badly laid out and plug sockets were not conveniently positioned. The bed did not have an "over sheet" on and only had a very scratchy blanket. a couple of hours after booking in I had a message to say that we werte not booked in for the next 3 days - 27th to 30th September and that I was to conact Booking,com. Despite the fact that I had printed proof of the booking and the payment made in full on 15th September, they would not confirm that we had a room for the next 3 nights! I contacted who confirmed that we were in fact booked in there, but the reception staff would not confirm it! we left the hotel the next morning having managed to secure alternative accomodation during a very stressful night. I DO NOT recommend this hotel. It is by no means "high end" as advertised. It is like a hostel. In fvact I have stsayed in better hostels in the past. Very dissapointed, frustrated with the upset and extremely annoyed tht we got no help at all from the hotel ref this issue tha was no fault of ours
