Hotel Seerose Wolfgangsee sits on St. Wolfgang’s lake promenade, a 300‑meter stroll from the town centre and congress centre. Guests enjoy free WiFi, a terrace, and private bathrooms with showers. Nearby, restaurants, shops, a bus stop, Schafberg train station, ferry, boat and bike rentals, and a sailing school lie within 200 metres. Salzburg airport is 45 km away.

The hotel’s location is very good, just 50 m from the lake. The breakfast is top quality.

The breakfast was paid and overpriced, since the room price was already high, but it was at least decent. The location was great, right next to the electric railway station and a restaurant where we dined. We parked off‑site, paid for that, and got a discount on breakfast. The rooms and bathroom were smaller, but more than enough for one night. It was clean. I have no further complaints.

Very clean and close to downtown

I liked that I could hear someone singing from another room, that standing at the very edge of the terrace I could glimpse a mountain between the buildings, and that it was close to the lake and the town center. A room with a view was confirmed, but instead the terrace looked out at the blank wall of a building a few feet away. The room didn’t feel clean. The bed was uncomfortable. The towels were scratchy. There was only one bedside lamp. The decor was ugly—egg yolk yellow and bright red.
